About the Author
Kenneth T. Walsh is an award-winning senior writer and the chief White House correspondent at U.S. News & World Report. He is also the ex-president of the White House Correspoendents Association. He has covered the White House since 1986 and has won the two most prestigious honors for reporting the presidency, the Aldo Beckerman Award in 1991 and the Gerald R. Ford Prize in 1993 and again in 1998 (he is the only journalist to have won the Ford Prize twice). He is considered a leading expert on the Bush dynasty. He is the author of two books that derived from his expertise on the presidency, Feeding the Beast: The White House Versus the Press and Ronald Reagan: A Biography. His work has appeared in The New York Times, Washington Post, Baltimore Sun, and New Republic, and he has appeared frequently on television programs including NBC’s “Meet the Press,” MSNBC, CNBC, CNN, Fox News, and C-Span. Walsh lives with his wife and two children in Bethesda, MD.
